Two finishes

We had a fun little photo shot outside my office yesterday.  I asked my friend Mary, who owns a very nice camera to take these shots and luckily for me, she agreed.

Here's a few more

The Snowball quilt was a year and one month in the making.  It's twin size and unfortunately too small for my bed.  It will probably be gifted to one of my nieces soon but in the meantime, I'm enjoying seeing it folded at the foot of my bed.

*****

I still have two pieced quilts to finish - one is about 1/2 hand quilted, the other needs to be sandwiched and quilted and yet a third mini still being pieced - but it feels good to get these two projects completed.

I'm thinking of blogging about the free-motion machine quilting process and showing some close-ups of these two featured quilts soon.

Have a great weekend and a great Father's Day!

I love your Snowball Quilt. It almost looks like a Hexagon quilt. The photo on the steps really shows the design to its best advantage. Lovely!
